Flooded Arts aims to develop a multifaceted music and cultural movement that is firmly rooted among the people so as to share with still more people the pleasure and inspiration that come from enjoying music and the performing arts. We shall endeavor to contribute to a flourishing of music and art in the new age by enhancing musical and cultural activities and developing musical programs designed to cultivate the artistic sentiments of children and youth.

We shall seek to deepen mutual understanding and friendship among all countries by promoting global music and cultural exchange that transcends differences of nationality, race and language.

The Flooded Arts Movement was initiated as a partial script for a conceptual short music documentary envisioned by Sean Able and co-written by Stanley Butler. As the sto ry line developed, and certain other real life events heavily inspired the documentary, it was decided to make it into two parts. The first part would be a slightly fictionalized guerilla flick filmed in a reality TV style production and then follow onto a Music Documentary. The second part was to feature heavily around Red Fern Sydney, and Mongkok / Shum Shui Po Hong Kong involving Hip-Hop artists of Minority and Indigenous backgrounds. 

Around this time in December and January the devastating floods and tampered weather patterns wreaked havoc on Queensland, NSW, Victoria and much of rural Australia. (including Tasmania). After witnessing the devastation and knowing the impact it had on each parties respective home towns, a deep motivation to do more inspired "THE FLOODED ARTS" movement. 

There will be a plethora of updates on what's coming up here, but our focus is to reveal the truth, shock and unify people through all creative means. Much like the Egyptians, and the belief of the Aboriginal people the best time to plant the seeds of hope, was after a FLOOD & when the dirty mud and grime was spread far and wide. New hopes and greenery adorned the land as " FRESH HOPE AND CREATIVITY" took root and grew.

The Flooded Arts has the same belief, that through tribulations we will be able to Unify people of all creed and touch people in an Inspirational and Creative way, through A FRESH and very INNOVATIVE ARTISTIC expression.
